Technical approach
Datamural uses a multi-model AI pipeline — provider-agnostic architecture that selects the best model for each task rather than being locked to a single LLM provider. The output is production React and Tailwind CSS, styled through a token-based theming system so infographics stay consistent and customizable.
Data accuracy is a core constraint, not a nice-to-have. The pipeline separates data binding from visual generation so numbers are deterministic while layout and narrative use AI judgment.
Current stage
Validate and distribute — the generation pipeline is working and producing production-quality output. Current focus is on link sharing with rich Open Graph previews, embedding support, and expanding the template and theme system.
